multi-arch doesn't call for a full port, it will be able to run mostly
powerpc binaries, with a few powerpc64 applications where it makes
sense.

This is an alternative to thez biarch setup, which would provide
-powerpc64 powerpc packages, for these same applications, but which the
RMs vetoed.

Well, there is andreas jochens pure-ppc64 effort eating loads of space on
alioth for example, does that count ?
