wow thanks for the fast reply, didnt expect one before next week! 

i have to say i cant test that because i dont have a ppc running to
recompile it, the netinst server is a x86 :(

ok i can try this image, btw what does d-i stand for? and you you think
this one will boot? or because i cant append a CONSOLE option it wont
display anything on the openfirmware prompt?

if i know what d-i means i can tell you about a bugreport ;)
