I only noticed this morning that I had Number Lock turn on... (the
little green light below the f6 key) by turning it off, the whole
keyboard came back to life.
Can I turn off Number Lock when X starts? Having Number Lock on for
external keyboard may be a good default option but on internal laptop
keyboard it's rather annoying.
Also, when Number Lock is turned on, it doesn't output numbers when I
press the keys (uio (456) jkl (123)) but I can get the + - / . Is there
a way to output the numbers?
thanks,
Sébastien

I'm on a PowerBook5,6 g4 @1667mhz running lenny yesterday I upgraded
xkb-data 1.2~cvs.20080501.1-1 -> 1.3-1 since then, my internal keyboard
is not regoncized by X.
Does it still work if you downgrade to 1.2~cvs.20080501.1-1?
I have to connect an external keyboard to be able to use the computer :(
I just noticed that when I press the letter "k" on the internal keyboard
the cursor goes down, as if it had become the down arrow...
Any idea about this problem?
Please provide the full Xorg.0.log - in particular, are there any XKB
related error messages?
