You might have seen there are two categories, Build-Attempted and Failed. The first one is where packages which fails to build land. It can be moved to Failed by a DD having access to wanna-build with a comment. I have started to put the known failures with a bug number, but if some others can help with matching a build failure with a bug number that would be great. Of course if there is no bug in the BTS, it's a good idea to debug it and report a new bug with a patch. > How should I proceed to setup a similar schroot with same package repo? The schroot can be created from the debian-archive with debootstrap using any of the official mirror. Once the chroot is created, it's also a good idea to add the following entry to /etc/apt/sources.list to get the packages as soon as they get uploaded: deb http://incoming.debian.org/debian-buildd buildd-unstable main > At the moment we have a buildd daemon at IBM and I can do that kind of work. > Now it'd be nice if I could help on the debian's buildd for ppc64el, that > would > make more sense.
