I grab the snapshot, put it on an usb stick and booted my Apple PowerBook6,5 4.8.7f1 BootROM built on 09/23/04 at 16:13:38 with it. The installation went smooth (including that dialog that needed to be answered "<NO>" right after partman was finished)
The system even booted into grub but than failed with Welcome to GRUB! Invalid memory access at %SRR0: 00100cbc %SSR1: 10003030 I haven't seen this kind of error on the list before, so I'm a bit clueless.
