I’m trying to print a Gimp picture. My printer is an Epson Stylus Color
880, configured with the gutenprint driver.
However, it only prints blanks pages. Exporting the PDF from gimp and
trying to print it with lp produces the same result. (Since GTK+ now
forces PDF printing by default, this is expected.) Exporting to a PS
file and printing this file works.
The only thing I can see in the cups logs are messages that I assume to
be generated by pdftoraster (hence the choice of this package for
reporting the bug):

The generated PDF can be viewed with evince or converted using pdftops.
