branching is cheap is sensible for _local_ work. For collaboration it is messy to publish uncoordinated branches. I reverted the git at collab-maint. > I have not planed to modify your packaging. Please keep that patch queue branch local (i.e. do not push it) until we agree it makes sense to have at the shared git. > BTW could I add under unreleased distrib in the changelog ? Not sure what you mean, but if you mean add a new changelog section to add more changes to, then added that now. But please commit manual changes separately from (semi-)automated ones: Use "git dch -a" to generate draft changelog commit. That eases later reverting of a change or cherry-picking across branches. - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
