Indeed there seems to be some problem with the options for duplex printing.

As I understand from comment 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/487695/comments/13 there should be 3 
options for A4 (small borders), A4 borderless and A4 autoduplex, but when I 
select the last one, I always get the same as A4, i.e. iso_a4_210x297mm :-/

So far, my best advice for a workaround is to select the paper size A4 
borderless in the printer options.

I'll test the removal of the line you spotted, on a regenerated package and see 
if there's some improvement.
