Package: cups-daemon Version: 1.7.3-1 The package contains /etc/pam.d/cups-daemon, but when an user selects a privileged operation in the web UI the daemon actually tries to access /etc/pam.d/cups - and doesn't find it.
I hit it hard because I have /etc/pam.d/other set to deny, but anyone trying to modify /etc/pam.d/cups-daemon is going to be scratching their head too. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'oldstable'), (450, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages cups-daemon depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii bc 1.06.95-8 ii dpkg 1.17.9 ii init-system-helpers 1.18 ii libavahi-client3 0.6.31-4 ii libavahi-common3 0.6.31-4 ii libc6 2.18-7 ii libcups2 1.7.3-1 ii libcupsmime1 1.7.3-1 ii libdbus-1-3 1.8.2-1 ii libgnutls28 3.2.15-1 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.12.1+dfsg-2 ii libpam0g 1.1.8-3 ii libpaper1 1.1.24+nmu3 ii libsystemd-daemon0 204-10 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian12 ii procps 1:3.3.9-5 ii ssl-cert 1.0.34 Versions of packages cups-daemon recommends: ii avahi-daemon 0.6.31-4 ii colord 1.2.0-3 ii cups-browsed 1.0.53-2 Versions of packages cups-daemon suggests: ii cups 1.7.3-1 pn cups-bsd <none> ii cups-client 1.7.3-1 ii cups-common 1.7.3-1 ii cups-filters [foomatic-filters] 1.0.53-2 pn cups-pdf <none> ii cups-ppdc 1.7.3-1 ii cups-server-common 1.7.3-1 pn foomatic-db-compressed-ppds | foomatic-db <none> ii ghostscript 9.05~dfsg-8.1 pn hplip <none> ii poppler-utils 0.24.5-4 pn printer-driver-gutenprint <none> pn printer-driver-hpcups <none> pn smbclient <none> ii udev 204-10 -- no debconf information -- MichaĆ Politowski Talking has been known to lead to communication if practiced carelessly. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
