Package: printer-driver-hpcups
Version: 3.14.6-1+b2
Severity: normal
Dear maintainers,
I have found a temporary workaround for the bug #655106
I use the hpijs ppd instead of hpcups and my printer works well with
margins.
Unfortunately despite my printer has been installed using hpijs drivers
after each package upgrading who triggers the PPD updating the PPD
associated at hpcups overwrite automatically the original PPD and the
printer driver is automatically switch to hpcups.
the following output shows an piece of "apt-get upgrade" result with my
printer driver updated by hpcups insted of hpijs.

1. Compile-time check mode (-c or --compile): Use this mode before compiling the
HPLIP supplied tarball (.tar.gz or .run) to determine if the proper dependencies
are installed to successfully compile HPLIP.
2. Run-time check mode (-r or --run): Use this mode to determine if a distro
supplied package (.deb, .rpm, etc) or an already built HPLIP supplied tarball
has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode
will check both of the above cases (both compile- and run-time dependencies).
Check types:

The driver appears to have functioned very well over the past six years.
