Upstream has closed my bug report as a duplicate of bug 699830 again. However, there has been another bug report from another user (who also uses Ghostscript for its compress feature): https://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=699896 also closed as a duplicate, but upstream eventually recognizes that there is a limitation of the combination of the PDF interpreter and pdfwrite, and "will consider doing something further for pdfwrite and annotations". The -dPrinted=false was suggested in bug 699830 to keep link annotations, but it has a drawback: it will drop the "print" annotations. So, there is no longer any way to keep all annotations. -- Vincent Lefèvre <vinc...@vinc17.net> - Web: <https://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <https://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / AriC project (LIP, ENS-Lyon)
