There is now a possibility that I am able to reproduce the behaviour Brad experiences. Brad, we did not use all the tools we have at our disposal. Read https://wiki.debian.org/CUPSDebugging#The_CUPS_Error_Log and get an idea of where we are going. Now * Do 'cupsctl --debug-logging' (as root). * Then '>/var/log/cups/error_log' (as root). * Print with 'lp -d Officejet_6700 /etc/nsswitch.conf'. * Compress /var/log/cups/error_log with gzip and send it here as an attachment.
