Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
I use debian testing/unstable. Recently, I noticed that when I wanted to add or
modify a printer on the localhost:631 interface, my computer froze. The system
doesn't have time to write anything to the logs.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Following the crashes, I launched Linux in recovery mode. If I run the lpinfo
-v command, the kernel crashes. However, this time information appears in the
console: the intel_ipu6 module is the cause of the crash (!!). I think it's
linked to cups interrogating the serial port and communicating directly with
this module (maybe the bug is linked to intel_ipu6?). Following this, I
performed the following actions to test:
rmmod -f intel_ipu6_isys
rmmod -f intel_ipu6
cups no longer crashes after this

   * What was the outcome of this action?
kernel crash
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
list of printers
