A floopy? Maybe I'm failing to keep up (I've obviously taken a long time to get to reading this message), but why can't the driver that requires the firmware also be on the floppy or CD in loadable module form? If the installer's smart enough to look for firmware it can look for extra kernel modules too. -- Sam "Eddie" Couter | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Debian Developer | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] | jabber:[EMAIL PROTECTED] OpenPGP fingerprint: A46B 9BB5 3148 7BEA 1F05 5BD5 8530 03AE DE89 C75C
