But a summary of the release updates which are directed to -devel-announce would be nice, for example, giving an overview what has been done for the next release and what still needs to be done. That would also, and that's an important point IMO, give users an impression what improvements will be included in the next Debian release. At the moment, you can only find something out about that if you use resources mainly provided for developers.
