Can you give me some more details about this? There's a summary up on the wiki at http://wiki.debian.org/SummerOfCode2007/DebianCdTester which I hope should give a reasonable overview of the problem. Is there anything in particular you're looking for more info about? >I thought it could be made as a console app in PERL with >several functions that do the checks. Yup, that sounds entirely reasonable. A GUI would be useless (for me, anyway) as the CDs are built on a remote machine and I don't want to have to download them all over my ADSL connection. Using functions to do checks sounds good; I want this to be as easily extensible as possible. -- Steve McIntyre, Cambridge, UK.
