Since [1] got no negative feedback, I opened RT#993 to ask for the creation of declassify-t...@debian.org. (Unfortunately before I knew a call for a team would be made in the "Bits" mail, otherwise I would've waited.) But this was acked by leader@, and the alias is operative now. (It just goes to an mbox in master, nobody is behind the forward yet.)
