Cool! Then I don't think I'll spend effort on setting up a bzr hook to automatically publish the file, even if loggerhead only gives access to the raw markdown text. Markdown is supposedly easy to read (like plain text). When we push changes from bzr to svn, for the official DEP website, the HTML version will get generated anyway, and that's the version people who implement DEP-5 should be looking at.
