Is procmail still the advice to > people new to large amounts of emails? No maildrop? No sieve? Just as a fun fact, our own list software is based on procmail. Therefore procmail is still working somewhere. However, for private usage I would prefer sieve (unless you want to execute scripts and so on), otherwise maildrop (much cleaner syntax than procmail).
