Hi Phil, I think that the "right" way for bringing requests for packaging is submitting a "request for packaging" (RFP) as meant here: https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/ I know, the list is long, so it's somewhat discouraging adding another RFP. Just pointing the way. This mailing list is rather for general project related matters. - B.
