Welcome and thanks for showing your interest in collaborating in the Debian Project. Gabriel and I met talking about the DebConf26 in a Telegram group called "Debian en Español» t.me/DebianLatinoamerica and he told me about his interest to be a Debian package maintainer. At the moment I have shared with him the "Debian New Maintainers' Guide" https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/maint-guide/ as well invited him to join to our following mailing lists and IRC channels to start integrating him to our community:

I have added Emmanuel because Gabriel also lives in Argentina and I think he and other friends in Argentina could introduce him to Debian Argentina. Could someone mentor Gabriel in his journey to be a package maintainer please? Please also tell me is this is the right mailing list for this purposes or someone has got a more accurate mailing list suggestion.
