Hello, Anybody interested in helping out with getting Celery Python3 packages into Debian?
There seems to be a long list of dependencies that need to be dealt with first, and a lot of these are maintained by individuals, not the Python team. e.g. celery itself build-depends on: sbuild-build-depends-celery-dummy : Depends: python3-cl but it is not installable Depends: python3-gevent but it is not installable Depends: python3-kombu (>= 3.0.19) but it is not installable Depends: python3-kombu-doc (>= 3.0.19) but it is not installable Depends: python3-mailer but it is not installable Depends: python3-pytyrant but it is not installable Where python3-kombu build depends on: sbuild-build-depends-kombu-dummy : Depends: python3-beanstalkc but it is not installable Depends: python3-boto but it is not installable Depends: python3-couchdb (>= 0.8) but it is not installable Depends: python3-pika but it is not installable etc. (python3-botocore exists - can this be used instead of python3-boto?) It would be good if we could get this done by the next freeze, however, looks like a lot of packages, and I am not familiar with any of them. Thanks -- Brian May <br...@microcomaustralia.com.au>
