Hi everyone,

I just realized that it might be better to ask on this mailing list.
There are packages that depend on pyusb>1.0 that we would like to get
into debian. There is also at least one example of a package already
in the archive that bundles pyusb>1.0 as part of the package itself
(quisk). In addition, pyusb>1.0 is supposed to be more or less
backwards compatible with pyusb<1.0 according to the documentation.

Please see this bug report:
  https://bugs.debian.org/712206

I would really appreciate if someone helped out getting pyusb>1.0 into
experimental. It is not good that packages have to bundle pyusb>1.0
like quisk does, and which I'm now actually considering to do for
ubertooth.

Thank you

Best regards,
Ruben
