Hi, I'm looking for a sponsor and/or co-maintainer for geomag, a simple Python module for geomagnetic variation data. It is a dependency of Pure-maps, a nifty QML map and navigation application which we're trying to get included in Debian main.
The packaging is currently here: https://salsa.debian.org/Mobian-team/packages/puremaps/geomag The geomag upstream is updated very rarely, so maintaining this will not be much of a chore. The packaging part will likely change faster than the upstream code, so it would be nice to get it included in a part of Debian specializing in Python with group maintenance. Best, Teemu
