It seems that when temperature measurements are unavailable, gweather-applet-2 actually calculated -17.8 degrees Celsius for both temperature and dew point. Of course, -17.8 is an impossible value (since METAR temperature and dew point are both given as integer values in degrees Celsius).
The same problem seems to occur for humidity. It seems that the humidity measurement can be missing and gweather-applet-2 will display 0% (in the "Forecast" window). (Environemnt Canada is reporting 92% humidity currently, but gweather-applet-2 is reporting 0% even though the weather condition is "Mist").
