The directories created in /tmp seem to have rights only for the user running gnome-sudo. I recall at some point (last year) gnome-sudo did work. One possible reason for this change could be recent sudo updates. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux nimbocumulus 2.4.18-pre3-ac2 #1 Mon Jan 14 21:47:07 EET 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI Versions of packages gnome-sudo depends on: ii gdk-imlib1 1.9.11-3 Gdk-Imlib is an imaging library fo ii libart2 1.4.1.4-1 The Gnome canvas widget - runtime ii libaudiofile0 0.2.3-2 The Audiofile Library ii libc6 2.2.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb3 3.2.9-14 Berkeley v3 Database Libraries [ru ii libesd0 0.2.23-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Shared ii libglib1.2 1.2.10-3 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome32 1.4.1.4-1 The Gnome libraries ii libgnomesupport0 1.4.1.4-1 The Gnome libraries (Support libra ii libgnomeui32 1.4.1.4-1 The Gnome libraries (User Interfac ii libgtk1.2 1.2.10-9 The GIMP Toolkit set of widgets fo ii sudo 1.6.5p1-2 Provides limited super user privil ii xlibs 4.1.0-14 X Window System client libraries --------------------------------------- Received: (at 132506-done) by bugs.debian.org; 30 Mar 2004 09:58:44 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 30 01:58:44 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from leticia.terra.com.br [200.154.55.226] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1B8G16-0006ZC-00; Tue, 30 Mar 2004 01:58:44 -0800 Received: from paramonga.terra.com.br (paramonga.terra.com.br [200.154.55.133]) by leticia.terra.com.br (Postfix) with ESMTP id B3CA23C6D3; Tue, 30 Mar 2004 06:58:42 -0300 (BRT) Received: from beterraba.horta (unknown [200.216.107.248]) (authenticated user bhz52091) by paramonga.terra.com.br (Postfix) with ESMTP id 24CC13C01B; Tue, 30 Mar 2004 06:58:42 -0300 (BRT) Received: from localhost.terra.com.br ([127.0.0.1]) by beterraba.horta with esmtp (Exim 4.30) id 1B8G0q-00014A-PM; Tue, 30 Mar 2004 06:58:28 -0300 Subject: Re: Bug#132506: Bug still present? Hmmm... in this case, I'll close the bug and you can reopen it in case you hit this problem again with gksu, ok?
