Subject: Ugly message in debconf
X-Reportbug-Version: 1.17
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.17

Package: hwtools
Version: N/A; reported 2001-07-11
Severity: minor
In testing hwtools' debconf menu with slang frontend I have (roughly):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Configuring Hwtools
hwtools package: < Save Note >
< Next > < Back > < Hide Help >
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
You will most probably want to read
/usr/share/doc/hwtools/README.Debian and the rest of the files in that
directory, before using any of the programs included in this package.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The string "hwtools package" is actually really ugly. It would be better to
have something at least meaningful, like "hwtools package requires manual
configuration" or something like that.
Bye, Enrico
