Package: ksimus-boolean Version: 0.3.6-12 Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-4.3 Your package fails to build with GCC 4.3. Version 4.3 has not been released yet but I'm building with a snapshot in order to find errors and give people an advance warning. GCC 4.3 has converted a number of warnings into errors. With GCC 4.3, you're no longer allowed to put spurious text after preprocessor directives, such as #else and #endif. See http://www.cyrius.com/journal/gcc/gcc-4.3-pedwarn.html
You can reproduce this problem with gcc-snapshot from unstable. Note that Red Hat, Novell and Ubuntu have done some work getting packages to build with GCC 4.3 so there might be patches floating around somewhere. I suggest you talk to your upstream. > Automatic build of ksimus-boolean_0.3.6-12 on em64t by sbuild/amd64 0.53 ... > x86_64-linux-gnu-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/kde > -I/usr/share/qt3/include -I. -I/usr/include/kde -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT > -D_REENTRANT -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -pedantic -W > -Wpointer-arith -Wmissing-prototypes -Wwrite-strings -ansi > -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -Wcast-align -Wconversion -DNDEBUG > -DNO_DEBUG -O2 -fPIC -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -MT rsflipflop.lo -MD -MP > -MF .deps/rsflipflop.Tpo -c rsflipflop.cpp -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/rsflipflop.o > cc1plus: warning: command line option "-Wmissing-prototypes" is valid for > Ada/C/ObjC but not for C++ > rsflipflop.cpp:145:15: error: extra tokens at end of #undef directive -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
