Package: pine, ajaxterm
Version: 4.64-1, 0.9-2
Severity: normal
Sorry, I don't know which program is at fault. The problem occurs when
editing a mail in pine running in ajaxterm. Enter two lines of body and
then go up to the first line and insert/delete text as if you were
fixing a typo. The first character of the second line then mis-displays
as a space.
I've attached a typescript of a session illistrating the problem. If I
cat this in an ajaxterm, I can see the misplaced space. Of course, if I
cat it in a regular xterm, all looks well.
If I set TERM=vt100, this problem goes away, but I think that ajaxterm
is supposed to be closer to TERM=linux, the default, than vt100.
