Package: libgs8
Version: 8.61.dfsg.1~svn8187-3
Severity: normal
ghostscript ends up getting removed if the user tries to remove cups from
their system. this is because libgs8 has a dependency on libcupsimage2.
it seems like this is an undesirable effect because ghostscript should
still be able to function for the most part without the printing system.
if this is the case, then the depends on libcupsimage2 should be
changed to a recommends instead.
thanks for the hard work.

ghostscript builds against cups in order to provide a raster output driver for
CUPS.
