There was an ITS on slim without any change in the maintainer/uploader field, so the result is that the package is orphaned. The package description is: SLiM aims to be light, simple and independent from the various desktop environments. Although completely configurable through themes and an option file. It is particularly suitable for machines that don't require remote logins. I think Slim is the default login manager for Devuan and maybe is important for other derivatives too, possibly worth coordinating and merge contributions from downstreams. Slim upstream is inactive and many projects, including Debian, switched to a fork; now the fork is mostly inactive too due to health problem of the developer.
