Subject: Changes to @INC for 5.6.1 perl packages
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Sender: Brendan O'Dea <[email protected]>

Package: dcopperl
Version: 2.1.1-0.1

I am presently working on packages for Perl 5.6.1 and hope to upload
them before too long.

This package installs modules into /usr/lib/perl/5.6.0 which is perl's
archlib. This directory will not be included in the @INC of 5.6.1 .

Please re-build this package using `INSTALLDIRS=vendor' and do not
explicitly set any other INSTALL* values.

Note that the mechanism for building modules has changed from that of
the perl-5.* packages and is described in detail here:

  http://people.debian.org/~bod/perl-policy/ch-module_packages.html

Regards,

These bugs in packages maintained by Debian QA were already closed (and
fixed packages are already in unstable) but only marked as fixed.
