Package: kmail Version: 4:2.2.1-1.6 Severity: wishlist I have a localhost connection via SSL. When I had it connecting to "localhost" it asked me again after every restart (of kmail) whether I wanted to accept the SSL key. When I changed it to "127.0.0.1" that went away.
I believe that this is a bug. I guess that it was done this way because of DNS being easy to fake. But once I have said yes to the key then that should be it IMHO. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Kernel Version: Linux lyta 2.4.14-grsec-1.8.6 #1 Sun Nov 11 22:49:03 CET 2001 i686 unknown Versions of the packages kmail depends on: ii kdelibs3 2.2.1-14 KDE core libraries (runtime files) ii libc6 2.2.4-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone ii libjpeg62 6b-2 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG runtime li ii libkdenetwork1 2.2.1-1.6 Common libraries needed for KDE network appl ii libmimelib1 2.2.1-1.6 mime libraries needed for some KDE applicati ii libpng2 1.0.12-2 PNG library - runtime ii libqt2 2.3.2-2 Qt GUI Library (runtime version). ii libstdc++2.10- 2.95.4-0.01100 The GNU stdc++ library ii xlibs 4.1.0-9 X Window System client libraries ii zlib1g 1.1.3-18 compression library - runtime
