Package: tracker.debian.org
Severity: important

Yesterday and today connections to package.debian.org is *extremely*
slow, sometimes running into timeouts (failing). My scripts ran last
ime Sat Dec 9 17:01:56 2023 +0100 without issues.

Example with wget:
helge@twentytwo:/tmp/testsite$ wget --verbose
http://packages.debian.org/bookworm/amd64/file/download
URL transformed to HTTPS due to an HSTS policy
--2024-01-07 10:30:10--

GnuTLS: Fehler in der Pull-Funktion.
Es ist nicht möglich, eine SSL-Verbindung herzustellen.

(English (translated by me):
GnuTLS: Error in the Pull function.
It is not possible, to establish an SSL connection.

When it succeeds, this take ages:
helge@twentytwo:/tmp/testsite$ time LC_ALL=C wget --verbose

I observere this similarly with other clients, e.g. links.

Other https site(s) work fine, e.g.

This causes a data collection script of mine, which usually runs in a
few minutes, to take hours (and still be incomplete).

I don't know how to get more information, links does not offer a
verbose switch and for wget I don't see more than the information
posted. I'm happy to provide more information if you tell me which.
