Dear friends,

We are sending this letter to invite you to inform about the project of the
Humanist Center of Cultures that we have launched in neighborhoods throughout
New York City and Cities world wide to respond to the growing difficulties and
concerns among the diversity of people and our cultures.

We believe that while diversity is the best aspect of the present moment, there
are many conflicts that are not responded to and conditions are getting worse
for all of us. And we feel that the answer will not come from those at the top
but starts with us, the people in overcoming individualism and creating a model
of team work and projects to help our communities.

The change will not come from people above, but from within ourselves, as we
foment growing communication among people of all cultures and connect with our
cultural roots, we will find the answers to construct a future free of
confrontation and strength in understanding and true coherence.
Concretely this happens in projects of communication, launching neighborhood
newspapers, conferences and seminars in the universities, workshops, promoting
active non violence, non discrimination, human rights, health, education, and
quality of life for all peoples.

The most important is that people can participate directly and have a voice and
learn and grow with eachother to resolve our difficulties at the root,
bettering conditions for all people rather than a select few.

While the leaders want uniformity and conformity, we want to show that people
of all cultures working together and learning from eachother and supporting
human values for everyone is the model of the future for the world.

If you want to learn, if you are interesting in more information about our
ongoing projects and how you can be a part of this new direction, contact us at
this e-mail address.

Thank you very much for your attention.
