Package: kwin-wayland
Version: 4:5.13.5-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
When using KWin Wayland session in Debian testing with AMD Vega 56 GPU
(connected over DisplayPort),
it cores right after log-in and falls back into sddm. I managed to produce a
core backtrace - it's
happening in the interaction between kwin_wayland and wayland-client.
Wayland and KDE developers so far didn't figure out the cause. Mesa developers
suggested,
that it can be a Debian specific issue, since it doesn't happen on some other
up to date distros.
See Wayland bug reference below for a backtrace of the crash.
