Package: kde Version: 5:47 Severity: important When two windows or more are open on a desktop, most often when they overlap (such as a child window for an app or a dialog box), window focus switches rapidly between windows. I used sloppy focus, and tried switching to focus follows mouse. When this occurs, CPU load goes to 100%, with the xorg process eating up most of it.
I switched over to gnome and it does not display this behavior. It has happened on two x86 machines and has only happened since I dist-upgraded to 3.5.4/3.5.5. I note that some of the packages installed are 3.5.4 and some are 3.5.5, so this problem may go away when the rest of KDE is upgraded. --b -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kde depends on: ii kde-amusements 5:47 the K Desktop Environment games an ii kde-core 5:47 the K Desktop Environment core mod ii kdeaccessibility 4:3.5.5-1 accessibility packages from the of ii kdeaddons 4:3.5.4-1 add-on plugins and applets provide ii kdeadmin 4:3.5.5-1 system administration tools from t ii kdeartwork 4:3.5.5-1 themes, styles and more from the o ii kdegraphics 4:3.5.4-2 graphics apps from the official KD ii kdemultimedia 4:3.5.5-1 multimedia apps from the official ii kdenetwork 4:3.5.5-1 network-related apps from the offi ii kdepim 4:3.5.4-1 Personal Information Management ap ii kdeutils 4:3.5.5-1 general purpose utilities from the ii kdewebdev 4:3.5.4-1 web development apps from the offi kde recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
