Package: kdebase Version: 4:3.5.5a-2 Severity: wishlist Hi,
currently kdebase Build-Conflicts with nvidia-glx. I presume (debian/changelog contains no hints) this is due to the dangling libGL.so symlink that nvidia-glx left on the system, see #208198. Recent versions of nvidia-glx have fixed this, however, and I tested to back out the build-conflict. It seems that the package was built correctly (especially, the configure script found the GL libraries), and I'm running that KDE version right now. I suggest to make the conflict versioned, i.e. set Build-Conflicts: nvidia-glx (<< 1.0.8774-6) in debian/control (that's the version I tested). Note that I don't have nvidia-glx-dev installed (I don't know if that would make a difference). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18.1 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
