Package: klaptopdaemon Version: 4:3.5.8-1 Severity: normal The battery status sys-tray no longer shows up, and the kcontrol settings related to the battery status is not working correctly any longer. It says to enable ACPI, but it is enabled and it worked fine before. The problem something else: that /proc/acpi/battery no longer exists in kernel 2.6.24. I refer to bug #463611 for more information. The gist of it is that it is now /sys/bus/acpi/drivers/battery/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply:BAT0 instead, if I understood correctly.
