My testing box doesn't have the KDE4 packages offered yet,
and the crash (e.g. in Proxy setup) - as expected - doesn't happen
on my u9.04 KDE 4.2.2 setup.

OTOH, the error message displayed during the crash was
"The desktop file proxy.desktop does not specify a library."
which I managed to also get on my u9.04 box (WITHOUT crash!) by removing the
X-KDE-Library=kcm_kio
line in /usr/share/kde4/services/proxy.desktop .
However that doesn't mean at all that this crash possibility is now
fixed since I'm not sure whether conditions are identical on the boxes.

Took note to have another attempt in 2 months in case KDE4 upgrades
are offered then.

Thanks,

Andreas Mohr
