Package: kde Severity: minor Tags: patch --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hi, in order to expose the problem please consider the following configuration: I have two computer with a NIS/NFS system. Using KDE, the secondary computer play audio if and only if the main group of the logged user is audio. The server (main computer) has not this problem: the logged user can play audio even if him main group is "scanner". Moreover, on the secondary computerm, the user that perform a login in a "text shell" (ctrl-alt-f2 and so on) has not this problem: he can play audio even if the main group is "scanner". I have this problem after the dist-upgrade of the last Sunday (13th of June 2010), the same upgrade that causes the "white desktop".
