Hello,

Hi

the bug you reported is a KDE bug. Please report it via
Help -> Report bug... menu item of the respective application
or by visiting https://bugs.kde.org/ and following instructions
to report a new bug.

I already did, please check the bug history before requesting so.

I did the request before I received your mail with the url of the upstream
bug.

I understand, no worries.

I'm also switching the severity to wishlist, as this is a feature that
needs to be implemented (or at least that's what it seems).

It is not. It is a real failure because kde-open checks incorrectly the
url for a hostname, which should not be done, as it seems as explained
in related #701849 .

I see and I agree. Anyway, if a maintainer changes the severity, *ask* the
maintainer before switching it back again.

You're right, will do next time, thanks.

Debian Qt/KDE maintainers do not have resources to deal with
non Debian-specific bugs and therefore it is unlikely that
your bug will be solved if you do not report it to KDE developers
directly (unless it is/has been reported by somebody else).

I understand that, that's why I sent the bug to KDE myself, and I also
marked it as upstream myself.

Again, I received yor mail after I sent you this mail.

Kinds regards, Lisandro.

If you (I mean the team) try to troubleshoot this bug at Debian, I volunteer to do testing.

Again, thanks for your work in Debian

Noel
