Package: libqt4-network
Version: 4:4.8.5+git209-g718fae5+dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi.

For Qt programs linked to GnuTLS (for instance through libneon27-gnutls), like
owncloud-client/mirall, there's no way to dynamically force specific "priority
strings" for TLS protocols negociation.

GLib seems to offer such a mechanism, through a G_TLS_GNUTLS_PRIORITY env var
(see [0]).

It would be great to have the same feature in Qt, as it would allow to
woraround problems as the one exhibited in #730210.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
