Package: kdm Version: 4:4.11.13-2 Severity: normal When I logged out and try to shut down the machine from kdm, it works most of the time.
However, sometimes it doesn't (I haven't yet found a pattern), it only
switches to the console. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del then cleanly shuts down
the machine.
Afterwards I find the following in the logs:
sneo kdm: :0: Abnormal greeter termination, code 1, sig 0
sneo kdm: :0: Abnormal termination of greeter for display :0, code 1, signal 0
This bug is already present for a long time, sorry for reporting it
only now.
