The test suite provided in the upstream GitHub repository of `ruby-mdl` was added, a few patches now rendered it functional. With ruby 3.3.8 (2025-04-09 revision b200bad6cd), the complete scope of the upstream test suite is supported and checks defined by ci-salsa.yml pass. Based on this observation, there is no need for an extra `ruby-uri` and the RFS was withdrawn.
