FWIW I've been using sid/forky on POWER4 and it seems fine. The Apple
Xserve G5 specifically.
Just want to mention there are users affected by dropping support for
the big endian PPC64. Yes it's old but the baseline supports even older
Intels so there's a kind of discrepancy here.
PPC64 hardware is surely not as common as ARM and Intel but I notice
support for archs with even lower production volumes like the s390x. I
would be grateful if the baseline could be more 'data driven' regarding
the amount of serviceable hardware out there (these old Power PCs are
unstoppable).
