well, you wouldn't get rid of the FTBFS, just lower its severity to
non-RC.

I don't know if that's the right call: I'd consider it if that would
unblock testing migration, but here it doesn't (as there are rc bugs in
the dependencies…).  Furthermore, I feel uneasy pushing something
unmaintained in testing, I "accidentally" did with fastjet, but really
those packages don't have an active maintainer right now.
