But openmpi is built on m68k (since 2.1.1-1), so it should now be added. Similarly, powerpcspe is not listed in MPICH_AVAILABLE_ARCHITECTURES. That's consistent for the moment (mpich 3.3~a2-2 does not currently build on powerpcspe), but it did build until recently (3.2-7+b1 was successful).
