I have a 486DX100 with 8 Mb of RAM, it's working as one-disc firewall for our 384/64 kbit speed ADSL account, with routing between two 10 mbit ethernet card too. kernel 2.4.18, pppd, pppoe, limited iptables support. Working from a compressed filesystem loaded from floppy's 512. record.
