The best tool I found so far for parsing the postfix log is http://www.ucolick.org/~will/RUE/maillog/maillog.1.html, but I am afraid it still won't meet his needs entirely. It still allows some really nice filtering though. I am also looking for such a tool which shows the entire life of a mail, but haven't found one yet.

But he is interested in reconstructing the 'life' of an email, from recieving up to the point of delivery, or rejecting for some reason (so recieving -> postifix -> antispam -> filters -> delivery) He asks if someone can give hime hints to some direction.
